Partner Larissa Boratti attended, in June, the 9th International I-REC Conference, held at the University of Florida, Gainsville. This is a forum for debate on disaster prevention, response, and reconstruction strategies, with the 2019 theme being "Disrupting the Status Quo: Reconstruction, Recovery and Resisting Disaster Risk Creation." Larissa presented collective research work developed by UFSC, under coordination of Prof. José Rubens Morato Leite, within the international network JUST-Side (Achieving Justice and Sustainability in the Territory through Spatial Data Infrastructure Systems).
