Partner Marcelo Ilarraz defended his doctoral thesis with the University of London in February. The research deals with international taxation, more specifically the taxation of corporate profits in a comparative perspective (BRICS). Dr John Avery Jones CBE (Pump Court Tax Chambers/Leiden University) and Prof. Dr Christiana HJI Panayi (Queen Mary, University of London) were part of the examining board, as well as the supervisor Dr Philip Baker QC (Field Court Tax Chambers/Visiting Professor, Oxford University).
