Partner Larissa Boratti participated, on 11/22 and 11/23, in Montevideo, in the International Conference of the JUST-Side Network - Justice and Sustainability in the Territory through Spatial Data Infrastructure Systems. This is an international cooperation involving institutions from nine Latin American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico and Uruguay) and Europe (Spain and Portugal), with funding from the Ibero-American Program of Science and Technology for Development (CYTED). The goal of the Network is to bring together GIS and GIS tools and methodologies with legal analysis for the diagnosis and confrontation of socio-environmental vulnerability situations in the territory. Larissa presented the case studies developed by the Brazilian team (under coordination of Prof. José Rubens Morato Leite, UFSC).
